Hosta ‘Alligator Shoes’ (Benedict) – Medium
The leaf is broad with a tapered point that twists slightly and displays a unique frosty blue-green color with a white border. The immature leaf is smooth but as the plant matures the leaf develops a pebbling on the surface. Slow to multiply and does better with a full morning of sun. Pale lavender flowers in July.

Medium: 13″ high by 30″ wide (up to 24″ by 52″) mound of creamy margined foliage; leaves 10 1/2″ long by 5″ wide (13 vp); 1/16″ to 1/8″ wide leaf margin changes from yellow to white during the growing season; leaf center dark green with many gray-green streaks and streaks of corrugation between the veins.
