Big John Hosta – Huge dark green leaves that arch downward. Makes an impressive specimen plant, and is one of the largest hostas grown. Leaves are dark green with glaucous bloom near the center and a gray green underside, rippled margin, slight corrugation. White flowers.

Very Large: 32″ high by 72″ wide mound of dark green leaves that measure 17″ long by 13″ wide (17-20 vp); one leaf reached 21″ long by 16 3/8″ wide; leaf color bluish green early, becoming dark green by early summer; slightly rippled margin; moderate corrugation; good substance.
