A showy new sport of the ever popular ‘Halcyon’. This beautiful hosta with thick foliage displays a wide, creamy white margin and blue center in spring. By summer, the margins have brightened to white and the center deepens to blue/green. During the hot days of late summer, portions of the margin may develop a greenish blush. Lavender flowers are produced in midsummer.
Medium: A special variegated sport of the ever popular ‘Halycon’ comes ‘Blue Ivory’ having thick, slug-resistant, powdery-blue leaves with a wide creamy-white margin in the spring. During the summer the margins lighten to white and the center deepens to blue-green. Late summer heat may cause portions of the margin to turn greenish-blue.
