Cherry Tart Hosta – Possessed of excellent red petioles the deep scarlet of ripe pie cherries, it also sports an upright form designed to show those legs off to their best advantage. A small but vigorous plant with leaves of a vibrant Spring yellow, ‘Cherry Tart’ has bright appeal for all hosta gardeners. Would be wonderful in the garden in an elevated feature position where it can catch the sun and light up like a firefly.
Small: 6″ high x 15″ wide mound of chartreuse to light gold foliage; leaves 4″ long x 1 1/2″ wide; narrowly elliptic in shape, smooth-textured, and not wavy; average substance.
