Dixie Chick Hosta – This hybrid of H. ‘Masquerade’ x H. ‘Invincible’ boasts small, thick, glossy green foliage, surrounded by a nice creamy white margin. As the plant matures, the edges become even wider until the end of the season. The edge color is also quite unusual, in that it has tiny green flecks inside the white. In late summer, the clump is topped with short 1′ tall spikes of large lavender flowers. This is truly a delightful and unique new introduction!
Small: 9″ high x 21″ wide mound of white-margined foliage; margin 1/8″ wide; leaf center slightly shiny, dark green center slightly shiny, dark green; leaves 3 1/4″ long x 1 7/8″ wide, narrowly ovate-shaped, and moderately wavy.
