Eternal Flame Hosta – This selection of H. ‘Whirlwind’ was named because it holds the white center throughout the season, leaves have a very wide dark green margin around the white center and the leaf tends to be fairly flat rather than twisted. Topped with lavender flowers in summer.
Medium: Medium-sized mound of foliage that is creamy white (with limited green spotting) in the center with a wide, dark green margin; one mound measured 14″ high x 36″ wide; leaves 7 1/2″ long x 6 1/4″ wide with a 1″ margin; leaf blade also moderately twisted and curved.
