Giantland Banana Tree

Hosta ‘Giantland Banana Tree’  (J Miller)  –  Giant

This very unique hosta makes a giant clump of metallic blue-green leaves, measuring over 44″ tall. First reaction upon seeing it, Rod Kuenster said “It looks like a banana tree!”; hence the name. The pips that emerge in the spring are 9″ in circumference… even Jeff has a hard time getting his hand around a single pip. Jeff describes this hosta as “it certainly passes the 50 ft. rule, no other hosta like it… very tropical looking”
