Ivory Coast Hosta – A smaller sport of 'Sagae' with much wider leaf margins. Broadly ovate, pointed leaves are grey-green with rippled, yellow margins. As the season progresses, the center deepens to blue-green with grey-green jetting towards the near-white edge.
Large: Differs from ‘Sagae’ by its much wider, creamy white margins and thicker substance; 1 1/2″ – 2″ margin changes from yellow to creamy white; leaf center bluish to dark green; originator’s specimen 21″ high x 38″ wide, but should become much larger; leaves 10 3/4″ long x 9 3/8″ wide (14 vp).
