Katherine Lewis Hosta – Another sport of H. ‘Halcyon’–this one differs from H. ‘June’ in that
the leaves are brighter and hold their color much longer. Needs sun or bright light to show it’s best and by the end of the season the leaves are a lemon yellow with a dark blue-green margin; lavender flowers arrive in late summer.
Medium: 16″ high thick leaves are deep gold turning ivory white with irregular narrow margins of dark green. Lavender funnel-shaped flowers on 30″ scapes in midsummer. Striking variegation mid to late summer.
