Mississippi Delta Hosta – Olga Petrysyn has concentrated on creating very large hostas in her hybridizing program, so it is years before she can tell if a plant is going to be good enough to name. This virtually guarantees that if a plant came out with her name behind it, there won’t be any unpleasant surprises. The one we have here is a huge blue-grey plant with very large leaves that undoubtedly will be one of the best in it’s class.
Large: 24″ high by 50″ wide mound of Intensely blue-green leaves 14″ long by 11″ wide with slightly rippled margins, downward cupping, thick substance. Near white flowers in early July.
