Potomac Pride Hosta – This is our 1996 release that was selected as the Convention Plant for the 1995 American Hosta Society convention in Washington DC. This H. ‘Blue Umbrellas’ x H. yingeri ‘Treasure Island’ cross makes a 3′ wide clump, sporting large shiny black green leaves and small spidery H.yingeri like flowers in early summer… a vigorous grower and one you will recognize from all the others. Large, shiny black green leaves, spidery purple flowers in July. 1995 AHS Convention Plant.
