Tenryu

Hosta ‘Tenryu’   (Yoshie/Ruh)  –  Large

This import from Japan has a similar shape to H. nigrescens with a very upright growth habit and large glossy blue green leaves. H. ‘Tenryu’ is highly prized in Japan for the white coating on the back of the leaves. The 7′ tall flower spikes of light lavender top the plant in late summer.
