Hosta ‘Tidewater’
This medium size (18″ high by 40″wide) plant comes from the breeding program of Mark Zilis. It has 12″ long by 6″ wide, pointed leaves with a heavy wax coating resulting in powdery blue surface. The leaves remain blue throughout much of the growing season.

Med/Large: Medium-large mound of intensely blue foliage; average mound size 18″ high x 40″ wide with leaves 12″ long x 6″ wide (11-13 vp), but have seen specimens measuring 23″ x 54″ with leaves up to 18″ long x 8 1/2″ wide (12-13 vp); leaf blade narrowly ovate-shaped, wavy, deeply veined; good substance.
