Titanium Hosta – Many saw this one in some of the convention gardens in Minneapolis and it became a “must have”. This vigorous silver-blue clumps up quickly with leathery, smooth centered and wavy edged leaves that are heavily coated with wax on both the upper and lower surface. At only 9″ tall, this 34″ wide clump is perfect for the front of the border. Loves morning and late afternoon sun but needs protection from mid-day sun to preserve the blue well into the season. A second flush of leaves mid to late season keeps the blue coming. Lavender flowers in late summer complete the picture.
