Winfield Blue Hosta – This cultivar popped up in the tissue culture labs, apparently due to spontaneous generation. Although we don’t know any parentage, we know that it is probably one of the best powdery blue hostas on the market today, making a great 3′ wide clump.
Med/Large:18″ x 45″ mound; Powdery blue, pointed, heart shaped, slightly wavy leaves. Blue color holds late into the summer. Very pale lavender flowers on 28” scapes in July.
